we love Dr. Solomon. He's older, very gentle and calm. He's in Glenview and has an office in Evanston now where he has hours 1 day a week. He can take a while to get in with, but is worth the wait...his Glenview number is ###-###-####.
I'm looking for a pediatric dermatologist for my 14 month old. She has a rash on one cheek that won't go away though it varies in intensity. I'm in the city, but willing to travel to the suburbs if that's what it takes! Thank you.

Dr. Michael Tharp at Rush University Medical Center is a pediatric Dermatologist and it is a bit easier to make an appointment with than docs at the Childrens Memorial. There are three doctors in the same office and 2 of them are pediatric deramtologists.

Good luck!
Dear K.,
I wondered if you are introducing any new foods that might be causing this rash. Maybe a pediatric dermatologist will be up on food sensitivities. My little guy gets rashes on his cheeks when he's had certain new foods. Just a thought.
Good luck!
Barbara
We love Dr. Anthony Mancini at Children's. He sees patients in Lincoln Park and in Glenview. It can take a long time to get in for an initial appointment, but I'd say it's well worth it.
My son goes to a great dermatologist in Northbrook but she is with Nortwestern so I don't know if she sees patients downtown as well.
