So What Happened?

First and foremost, i would like to thank everyone for all of your help. We have decided to go with the dr's at peerless peds. So far they seem wonderful. My kids love the whole staff there. My son saw dr. Jones last week. Unfortunatly i wasn't able to go due to work, but his daddy took him. My husband absolutly adored dr. Jones. Again, i thank all of you. I will keep you posted. M. j.

Hi M.!
Well, I know you asked for a pediatrician in Cleveland, but I'm going to tell you about the group I go to anyway because I know several families from Cleveland that use this group too. It is Pediatric Diagnostics. They are open seven days a week, 365 days a year. That has come in quite handy for us! And we love our doctor, and have had great experiences with other doctors in the practice as well. Their main office is downtown at Memorial Hospital, but I never go there. I go to their office on Gunbarrel Road by the Hamilton Place Mall. It's very easy to get to. The phone number is ###-###-####. The head of the practice is Dr. Meredith, who is great. We go to Dr. Max Bryant, and we really like him a lot. When we first moved to TN, I did a poll and asked every mom I saw who their pediatrician was. Over and over again I was told about this place.

About a dentist...do you want a pediatric dentist or a dentist for every member of your family? My daughter (3 1/2 y/o) went to Dr. Sidney Cox, and he is a great pediatric dentist on Brainerd Rd. (not too far from the Hamilton Place Mall). His number is ###-###-####. My daughter was not scared at all for her first cleaning, and actually wants to go back again.

My husband and I go to David Campbell in Collegedale. He is very gentle and kind and also sees children. (I didn't know that when I took my daughter to Dr. Cox!) His number is ###-###-####.

Anyway, I hope that helps! I know it's hard to move to a new area and not know where to go! Good luck!

-L.

Hi M.! I live in Cleveland and we have both great pediatricians and pediatric dentists. There really isn't a need to drive all the way to Chattanooga. We use Peerless Pediatrics on Peerless RD. All of my friends go there and the doctors are all fantastic. As an added benefit since you work - they are also open on Saturdays. We see Stephanie Sanderson and she's fantastic. She gives you plenty of time, is always in an upbeat mood, extremely friendly and will swoon over your kids. I've always had wonderful care from her and you won't be disappointed. Besides, your kids will love her. Barry Crabtree is another great doctor in this group that you may want to try. Really, they're all great at Peerless - you can really see that they love children. As for dentists, we have used both Dr. Paul Bacon ( who everyone goes to and he has almost 30 yrs experience) and Chad Eslinger who is in his 30's, has 4 kids of his own and is very gentle, kind and understanding. Both of these dentists are children only and you won't be disappointed with either. We love them both! I hope all of this helps and welcome to Cleveland - you're going to love it here!!!

Hello- I use Dr. Meredith for my children his main office is actually located downtown it is Pediatric Diagnostic, he is really good. The ####-###-####

If that is not an option you could check into Cleveland Pediatrics. I used them when I lived in Cleveland and they were good but not near as good as Dr. Meredith.

As far as a pediatric dentist I use Dr. Vice his office is located in Hixson--he is great and so are the hygentist. That ####-###-####.

Good Luck!

there are 2 pediactric offices in Cleveland. I personally go to Cleveland Pediatrics located on 25th Street. They're number is ###-###-####. They have a well building and a sick building which I really like. The doctors are terrific and they are avaiable at different times on the weekends.

My friend goes to Peerless Pediatrics which is located on Peerless Road. They used to be called Galen. She's happy with them too. They both are really good. Cleveland Pediatrics takes TennCare and Peerless Pediatrics doesn't. And I don't think Peerless is open on weekends either. I can't recommend a dentist because my son is only 7 months old and so he doesn't need to see a dentist yet.
