We are moving to the east side this summer and will need a new pediatrician. Right now, my daughter goes to Comprehensive Pediatrics at Fairview and I just love them. Can anyone recommend (or steer me away from) anyone in particular? It helps if they have Saturday hours, too.

Thanks so much!

Add On: I should have mentioned this in my original request - we are moving to Willoughby Hills. Thanks everyone for the tips - I will check them out!

hello,

I'm thinking that maybe you could ask the pediatrician where you are taking your child right now, ask them see if it's someone that they know on the east side that they can refer you to

hope this helps

Hi J.
My daughter goes to Dr. Sheth she is located right across from Lakeland Community College in the University building. She is a wonderful doctor she practices with 2 other drs. We have met all three and they are very knowlegable. I think the city is Willoughby they are right on the border of Willoughby and Kirtland. If you have any more questions please ask. Oh yea they do have Saturday hours too!!!

J.,
I'm not sure how far east you are moving, but if you will be near Willoughby or Mentor I would recommend Prime Health Pediatrics. I have two kids, ages 3 1/2 years and almost 2 years. The doctors and nurses have always been very friendly and knowledgable. They make the kids feel comfortable. My favorite doctor there is Dr. Lester, however, she has been out on maternity leave for a while. Here is contact info:

Primehealth Pediatrics
36100 Euclid Ave Ste 210
Willoughby, OH 44094-4427
Phone:###-###-####

They also have an office in Mentor.

Hope this helps! Good luck on your move!

J.

how far east are you moving? we take our son to the beachwood family health center...they have 4 pediatricians in their practice, and they're great. they have weekend hours, as well as extended hours on wednesday evenings...and someone is always on call, 24 hours a day. we take our son to dr. foley, specifically, but i've met and consulted with all of the doctors there and i like all of them. you could probably get more info through the cleveland clinic's website, www.ccf.org.

Hi J.,

We see Dr. Senders and his associates. We love them, especially because you can go ahead and meet them and pick the one you like. There are 6 or so Doctors in the practice and they have a great service.
They have Saturday and Sunday hours for working parents, as well as I think one day late hours and they have a 24 hour call service.
WE had a few times that our now 17 months old had something really bad in the middle of the night, but not bad enough that you would go to the Emergency room and one of the doctors on call would have a recommendation what to do to make her better till the morning, when we brought her in.

The have a homepage, just look up Dr. Senders with google or so. Right now they are still on Warrensville Road near CEdar, but in a month or so they are moving to Green Roda near Cedar, which is very close to where they are right now. I think they move from University Heights to South Euclid or so, City wise.

I know you said you are looking for a pediatrician but I work for a group of Family practice doctors that are wonderful, and I am not saying that because I work there. I have actually started to take my son to see one of the drs there because my son loves him, he asks all the time if he can go see dr kessler. Anyway it is at Twinsburg Family practice, i know it is a little ways away from willughby but they are wonderful drs. The dr my son sees is dr brian kessler. There are 9 physicians in our office and I would let anyone of them see my son if it was needed.

We go to Pediatric Place in Beachwood. I went there as a kid, and now my son goes. They are very understanding and helpful. They are great for off-hours also. I have had to call many times (as a new mother) and they call back immediately. There are three doctors, two males and one female. I personally go to Dr. Alan Rosenthal. Love him!
