Can anyone recommend a great Pediatrician in the Lakeview area, or that is connected to Northwestern Hospital? Must accept Humana Insurance.
Thanks!

We're very happy with Dr Ghaey ###-###-####. They have offices at the corner of Diversey and Sheridan. She's very good with our kids and we feel she's very capable.

Hi A.,

I'm unsure about the insurance issue but Dr. Todd Ochs at Ravenswood Medical Building is wonderful!! He has admitting rights at Children's Memorial and I believe is also associated with Northwestern.

Hi A. -

We use Lakeview Pediatrics practice on Belmont just east of Ashland and we are very very happy with them. They have 5 pediatricians in their office and they always get us in same-day if we call with an issue; they have Saturday hours for well-child visits (a + for us since we both work); and they were phenomenal advocates for my son when he was hospitalized with RSV at Childrens (which is the pediatric hospital for Northwestern). I'm not sure about insurance, and we're not crazy about one Dr's bedside manor, but they are pro-active and always available. Highly recommend

Hi A. -

We take our 21 week old son to Town and Country Ped on Clybourn. It is right by Treasure Island and the Blockbuster right there on Clybourn. It is a big office so some people don't like that about it, but we have LOVED our ped so far. We see Dr. Ellen Papacez (PA-PA-check). We have had one appointment that we could not do with her and used another doctor, that we didn't love as much. One of our good friends has a daughter that is 15 months and they recommended T&C and Dr. Papacez to us. They have meet with 2 other doctors during emergency situations and they loved them. It is nice because they have weekend appointments on Saturday and Sunday and availability to see you when you have an emergency come up during the day or in the evening until I think 8pm. So far we have been so very happy with our doctor. We have Humana insurance, but they might be affiliated with Children's not Northwestern (I am not sure since we delivered at Swedish Covanent and just took our preemie into to see our Ped when he came home from the hospital). They don't take consultative appointments (meet before you choose a doctor), which turned us off when we were pregnant, but we are glad we went with them anyway.

Good luck
