We're in the process of choosing a pediatrician for our soon-to-be-daughter. Utica Park Clinic seems convenient - has anyone had any good/bad experiences with Drs. Adelson, Exon, Proskovec, Gordon, or Pollak? Thanks and happy new year!

I used this practice for my children. (They are adults now.) Dr. Gordon was our pediatrician and we saw Exon, Adelson, and Pollak when needed. I had no complaints. I was able to get the kids in for illness same day with one of the pediatricians. I was pleased with all of them. When needed they made very good referrals to specialists. I also used the Utica Park Clinic in Jenks and loved Dr. Koljack. She was very caring and helpful. She also was really good with my son's allergies, asthma, and numerous insect bites and injuries. He would even take himself to her when he was in high school.

If Dr. Gordon is Sherry Gordon, she is absolutely wonderful. If you choose to take your child to Tulsa, I recommend Pediatric & Adolescent Care in the St. John's medical tower across from the hospital. Dr. Sherry Gordon and Dr. Donald Zetik are our primary pediatricians, and they are wonderful. The other physicians and P.A.s we have seen in the group were also fabulous. They have taken great care of our little boy, who is almost 2 now. They also hand out a little book which gives advice on general issues you will face with your little one, including safe over-the-counter medications and dosages.

Our pedi is Dr. Gordon and he is very nice. My cousin used him first, then my sister, and we decided to pick him also. Dr. Gordon is very relaxed and laid-back. My only complaint is, it would be nice if he was a little more aggressive sometimes in telling me what he thinks I should or shouldn't be doing.

I have heard really good things about Dr. Exon but some negatives about Dr. Adelson. Heard that Adelson is better with girls but doesn't really take the time for boy patients. My suggestions would be to try Dr. Patrick Daley. He is a good doctor in the St. Johns health system group just a few blocks South of Utica Park. Check with your insurance carrier sometimes once you chose you have to stay within that network for a while.
