Hiya. I would like my daughter to take some pee wee golf lessons over the summer. She is five. I bought her clubs and signed her up at Salt Creek Park District, but it turns out the times (T and Th nights) don't work for us. I seem to be able to find only over 7 y.o. classes. Does anyone know of anything like this in the Northwest suburbs. (BTW, I don't want a class that uses those plastic mallets. I want her to use her regular small version clubs).

They do have junior lessons at the poplar creek country club in Hoffman Estates. They start at age 4. I'm not sure of all of the details, but saw that they have a few programs to choose from. You can call at ###-###-#### or ck out their web-site, poplarcreekcc.com.

M.: Elk Grove Village Park District offers golf lessons for five year olds. If you go to the EGV park district website or call them I'm sure you can get more information. They are being held at Fox Run Golf Course. My husband plans to enroll our 5 year old. Only thing is the lessons run for three consecutive mornings. Hope this helps. L.
I can't help you but; I was just remenescing when our little ones started joining all the different activities and there were a few times that the schedules conflicted and there was absolutely nothing we could do to change, my husband and I took turns changing our schedules (it wasn't easy). We managed to have me go the first half and him go the second half of lessons. Years followed of having to change dinner times to saving food on the counter to be warmed when activities ran well into the night. Our 2 children grew so fast that our lives were like a whirlwind. Those days were awesome! They all are when you have children. I feel sorry for people that don't raise at least one child. They're missing sooo much in life. Enjoy mommy
Randall Oaks Golf Course in Dundee may have lessons for 5 yr. olds. It's a great course run by the Dundee Park District:)
