My daughter drew smiley faces on our tan microsuede couch. I tried the sol-u-mel and i tried nature's miracle. I also tried dawn dish detergent. None of that even smeared it. Any other ideas?

What can I do next?

amodex works great on pen and other stains that are impossible to remove. In fact, I got ink out of my husbands pants last night using it. Pen on a grown pan's pants. Yeah, I know! In PA you can only get it an Giant. My daughter once got expo pen on a shirt and the only thing EXPO recommends is amodex. It works wonders!

Hey B.,

Hope all is well. Here's what the Melaleuca Wellness Guide says about Ink Stains(page 229..I think you have this guide?)
Spray Pre-Spot on ink stains and rub with your finger or soft brush. Let is set for a few minutes and then rinse with warm water. If it is a stubborn stain, repeat the procedure or soak the spot overnight. An alternative-Tub and Tile or SolU Mel directly on the spot. Another possibility: 1 oz of Mela Magic and 1 capful of SolUMel mixed in 8oz of water. Good luck!

Baby wipes...they seem to take any stain out of any material. The Huggies Natural Care are the only kind I've ever bought, so it may just be that brand?

usually to remove pen, use isopropyl alcohol. that is teh main ingredient in hairspray that is also recommended. but then whenyou have microseude i am not sure if either is good.
i woudl call Burdick's Carpet & Upolstery Clearners personally so you don't make it worse! they can be reached at ###-###-#### or www.burdickscleaning.com. they do awesome work!

Rubbing alcohol. That's probably why the hand sanitizer worked for someone else. Be sure to use a white cloth and don't dab with the same place on cloth twice.

Same thing happened here. I used the spray Woolite Pet with Oxy (grey bottle) and it worked like a charm! That stuff can get any stain out of anything! It's amazing!

I have a leather sofa and what I found effective is sneaker cleaner from Foot Locker.

Same thing happened to my tan microsuede couch! What worked for me was using the antibacterial hand cleaner (just plain clear, not the smell good kind from anywhere). I put a bit on the pen, and then blotted it with white paper towels. It took quite a while, but it worked.

I accidentally got ink on my micro-suede and used hand sanitizer to get it out. It's the rubbing alcohol in it that does the trick. Just use a tiny dab at a time.

Try spraying with harispray, that will dissolve the ink, then blot the hairspray/ink combo with a warm, damp soapy cloth, then blot dry with a second cloth.
