Has anyone used a really good photographer in the uptown area of Dallas or the Plano area. One that is really good with kids? We would like to have our daughter's picture taken for her 1st birthday. I think I would like a studio, rather than having someone come to the house....but, I am open to either.

We had her picture made at PHOTO INNOVATIONS in Plano and they turned out AWESOME. I would completely recommend this place. They were wonderful and we came away with WAY TOO MANY pictures but, I just could not say YES!

I don't know how other people feel, but I just had my daughter's Easter/Spring pictures taken at Portrait Innovations in Plano. She is 17 months and they did a wonderful job getting her to smile. There were quite a few young children there (under the age of 3) and all of the pictures that I saw were great!! In fact, one little boy was having his one year pictures made with a real cake that he dug into as some of the shots.
We also had our family pictures taken there at Christmas with a different photographer. Great results then too! The cool thing about this studio is that you can look at your proofs right away and get them within 30 minutes or so. You might be worried about the quality, but they are just as good as any other studio.

I shoot around 25-45 images and I edit and do retouching, black and white, and color enhancement free of charge. I charge $75 for in studio and $125 for on location/your home. I put all the edited images to a high resolution disc with a release for you to print when and where you would like. I also give suggestion as to where to print them so you can get the highest quality images.

I had some photos taken of my son when he turned six months and loved them so much that I've gone back when he turned one, two, and now with my 5 month old little girl. We sat for a scheduled hour and it was very relaxed and VERY successful. She was extremely reasonable in price and she made prints of the ones she liked best and THEN gave me cd's with the negatives and a release so that I could print them in any manner I'd like or upload easily. It was a great experience and I keep going again and again.
AND she has a studio located in the back house from her house in the M streets off of Mockingbird and 75.

my nephew was just photographed for his first birthday by an amazing photographer in dallas. here is a link to the main site..and straight to my nephews pics. Innovations Photography did an awesome job w/my 22 month old over the weekend. It is located in Plano off of Park and the tollway in the Target shopping center.
