Maybe call Wolf Camera ... they always seem so helpful and they also do photo restoration so I'm sure they would have an answer.
Ladies,
I have a couple of beautiful heirloom photos of my now 7 year old, taken when she was 1 year old. I put them in temporary frames some time ago. Yesterday when I went to take them out to replace the frames, parts of the photo were stick to the glass. I am so sick over this. Does anyone know of a product that can help remove the photo without damage? I now that may be next impossible, but I had to ask anyway. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

This happened to a photo I loved, too. I just took the glass out of the frame, with the photo stuck to it, scanned it (we have a great scanner--hopefully you do or someone you know does) and had it reprinted at Wolf. Hope this works for you!
Oh NO - I bet you ARE sick over this!!! I don't know if this would work .. but a tip people use to remove photos from those old sticky albums is to use some dental floss to try and gently remove the pic ... not sure it would help - but it might be worth a try?
Call a Michaels or Joanns they do framing they might have some hints
Wonder if Un-Do would work?
It is a chemical of sorts that scrapbookers use for removing photos and embellishments without harming the pictures or the paper. It has a high order to it though but it works.

I am a scrapbooker. and I use "undo" for things like that. it shouldn't harm you pictures but here is no guarantee. if you can scan them first that would help. then use the undo. it will evaporate and shouldn't leave a mark or residue. if you are unsure find a scrapbook store. that is their business. preserving pictures. michael's and joann's sells the undo, but probably can't help you use it or help much more than that. the scrapbook store is your best bet. or a stamping store, just check the phone book for one near you. the ladies that work in them will probably take pity on you. the undo can be expensive and you will probably not use it again for much if you do not scrapbook. the scrapbook store would probably help you for free. don't use steam!!!!
good luck,
L.
