I would ask around at a Mother's Day Out program our your church. I'd bet within the day, you'd have some good options.
5 is not too young depending on the method. My sister is enrolling her 4 year old in the Suzuki method. Sounds intense. Look into it.
Does your school district have Continuing Education programs or your town offer recreaction programs that might include music lessons? I would look there first.
