Hi, I am a stay at home mom of 4 and I'm looking for piano lessons for my older two girls. We just moved here from San Antonio and my oldest (8) took lessons for 2 years there. I need someone who is close by, we live in tampa palms. I would like to start my second daughter as well (7). I looked on line but without recommendations I hate to just sign up. Also I don't want to pay $30/lesson. Ideally it would be someone in the neighborhood, even someone young is fine. Thanks for any advise

Bigel Music they are located on Bruce B. Downs near Wesley Chapel which isn't far from Tampa Palms. ###-###-####.
Tamara Sawyer. She is an elementary music teacher and she lives right around the corner from me in Land O'Lakes (about 100 yards from the southern Wesley Chapel border) off 54. She charges $10 a half hour and my 10 year old has been taking lessons from her for about a year now. These are at her house and she is very flexible. We had a winter recital, which was an excellent small venue and very well done. Her phone is ###-###-####.
Hi S. - I actually give piano lessons in that area and would LOVE to help you out. I've been teaching 21 years, travel to your home and I have established students in that area and all over tampa. If you'd like to contact me and discuss this further, email me at

Katherine Hintz is a wonderful teacher. She teaches different methods of music and is GREAT with kids and adults. My youngest goes to her music classes and my Mother-n-law takes piano from her (and says she is so very patient with her!). She has a web page on Mommasource I believe - which is how I found her. She can be reached at ###-###-####.
