Try calling Sacramento county and find out where to donate for the local battered women's shelters, or try UCP because they often need these kind of things for the mothers and kids in their programs.
I am looking for a place where I can donate my old maternity clothing. I have tried to sell some to consignment stores with no luck. But I would like a place that could really use the clothes. Any suggestions?

Any charitiable organization could use the clothes. Just went to the Dessert Industries - like Goodwill - and found only one rack of materity clothes (only one dress). You would think there would be a lot more but there wasn't.
Perhaps, a WEAVE shelter.

Dear T.,
Try WEAVE first, those women trying to get out of bad situations need all the help they can get and WEAVE is a great thrift store that helps these women. There is a store up in Carmichael off of Fair Oaks. If not there, any thrift store is good. Mom's on tight budgets, then becoming prego, a thrift store is sometimes the only place affordable for maternity things.
