My mother and her friend are planning a baby shower for me at the end of this month, and it is supposed to be at my house. However my house is of average size and the number of guests has largly increased, and Im quite sure that most of them will show up. I can accomodate 14 people comfortably, but my guest list has now grown to 30 people! Im not sure where Im going to put them all, nor where they are going to park, if all of them show up. We don't have a lot of money to spare on renting out a place either, if someone has any advice or knows of a place that would work for a baby shower in or near North Richland Hills, any ideas would be appreciated!
Thanks!

What can I do next?

Try the NRH rec center or the Watauga Rec center. I know the watauga rec center has a nice big room to rent and it doesn't cost very much. I hope you have a wonderful shower

Just a thought....are children going to be attending the shower as well?? If so, give mne a call at Monkey Grounds ###-###-####. Our facility can accomodate any type of gathering. The kids can play while the adults enjoy the baby shower. Only charge would be $50 for the room & I would comp the admissions since we haven't hosted a shower before but would love for you to be our "testers!!" Let me know what you think.

Reata restaurant in downtown fort worth is great- I know that is not in the NRH area. But they let you have a room for free if a certain amount is spent- they can do it buffet (m/s?) style.

Does one of your friends who is invited live at an apartment complex with a hospitality room. Those are often made available to residents at no charge and can be really pretty and spacious.

My baby shower 4 years ago was at the tea room Go Lightly's. It is on Davis close to 820. At the time my friends mom owned it but I am sure they still do showers. Good Luck

I just had one thrown for me for 30+ people, we decided a restaurant was the best idea. Reserve a large table, and everyone pays for their own meals.

Had a baby shower for my daughter at Johnny Carinos in hurst and it turned out great. Everyone pays for their own dinner and the people were great.
You can also try the NRH rec center. It shouldn't cost that much and you should have lots of room.

The tea room at the Vintage Antique Mall on Hwy 26 in Colleyville would be a perfect location.
