I have a very picky, tomb boy of a girl turning 13 next month. I let time get by me and have no idea of a place to have her party. I need ideas of where to hold it. I am new at this teen age thing sometimes I wonder if I can make it through this stage. Can anyone give me some suggestions as to where to go.

What can I do next?

What is your budget? How many girls are you planning to invite?
If I have that info I can give a better response.

Well I have a couple of suggestions, 1. bowling or skate parties are popular with my twins (12 y/o). 2. tea or red carpet party. Invite close friends have them get all dolled up. Fix up the dining room use real cup plates etc. and have light snacks. Take pictures of the girls walking on the carpet and make a small photo album (1.00 store) of them and have each girl autograph their photos.

What does she like? Maybe invite a few close friends and do Dave and Busters, or go horseback riding, or to the ice rink. We have had a number of parties at home - sleepovers, video games, teen flick movies, too much popcorn and candy, letting them bounce around on the trampoline...We've also taken a small group to the pool, or to a movie in a theater. Might one of those ideas appeal to your girl?

Have a Diva Party, Pampering Party or a sleep over. Girls that age are so fun. You can do pedicures, manicures and facials. Have them dress up in different outfits and take pictures, rent some movies, music and fun foods. It is cost effective and fun...

Good Morning ,

Tell you daughter Happy Birthday, some suggestions, a sleep over with a couple of friends. Roller skate party. Or a get together with a min of her friends , or take her and a couple of her friends to an amusement park, after certain hours it is half price. Also the community centers/rec centers chargs little or nonthing to rent the facility as long as you are a resident in the county , Bake her a cake and you and some friends can cook for her party. This is not a lot of money .

Good Luck
