Plus-size Maternity Clothes

I don't have any clothes for you unfortunately, but I am a Mom of twins (2 1/2) if you have any questions or concerns. Also, I am a member of a Mothers of Twins club in the area that was very helpful to me as a first time Mom. Please let me know if you would like the information about the club!

Congratulations! I would be happy to help you out. I ran into the same problem when trying to find maternity clothes. I have some pieces left over that you can have. I was also pregnant during the winter so I have long pants, sweaters, ect. I also havc two "suit" outfits. So comfy!! Let me know if/when you would like them. You can send a message directly.

Congratulations on expecting twins!! I belong to a twins club in my area (my twin boys are 4) and there are several clubs in the suburbs. Lots of them are getting ready for their annual fall resales where members sell gently used baby clothes, baby gear, maternity clothes, etc. You might be able to find some plus-sized maternity clothes at good prices, plus things for the babies. If you check out this website from the Illinois Mothers of Twins Club (http://www.geocities.com/iomotc/localclubs.htm) you can find clubs in your area, and then see if they have a link to their webpages to give you information about upcoming resales. I know of 2 near me - one in Lake Zurich & one in Schaumburg. Feel free to email me directly & I can give you more information. Good luck!

First of all - congrats on your pregnancy! I don't know how your size translates into L, XL, XXL, but if you can use 2XL I've got a few shorts I was looking to sell on ebay. They're brand new from Target with the tags still on 'em. i got them last summer and found them while i was cleaning my closet. let me know!

I would have some from my March 07 baby, but I'm having a March 08 baby now! However, I bought mine from Motherhood Maternity. They don't have a huge selection in the stores, but they have quite a bit online. The store in Woodfield has some plus sizes. Compared to some other maternity stores, they really aren't too expensive.

I don't know where you are located, but I have a gorgeous "coming this spring" plus sized maternity shirt from Old Navy that I am happy to pass along to you, if you are close, we can meet up and I'll give it to you, otherwise if you pay for shipping, it's all yours :) Old Navy has fantastic maternity clothes for larger women-I bought ALL of my maternity clothes on oldnavy.com

where they have a trading post. I think you have to be a member for a certain length of time before they let you into the trading post area, but I'm sure lots of Mommies would have clothes to trade/share with you on there, or sell for cheap, as there are lots of twins.

Also, there are some "Double Love" sales coming up. Here are all the sales I know of... some are moms of twins and some aren't, but maybe you can go to to a couple and find some good deals. I'm also including the moms of multiples websites I found in the area. You might want to search your town/area and "multiples" or "twins" on google and yahoo groups to find more. Another thing you could do (if you haven't already) is join FreeCycle- you can post "wanted" ads for items you're looking for. Craigslist.com might come in handy too.
Also, I heard that all the Goodwill's have children's clothing for 48c/each this weekend only if you need any infant clothing.
