I think I have it narrowed down to two songs for the father's day video that I'm making for my hubby. We have two girls who are 2 1/2 and 9. What do you think? Daughters by John Mayer or Butterfly kisses? He'd like the actual song by John Mayer better, but the butterfly kisses is such a sweet song. I can't decide. Any other daughter songs sung by a man would be appreciated too.

I think they are both great songs but Butterfly Kisses is one of my favorites =) I made my husband a video for father's day one year and used Pride and Joy by Stevie Ray Vaughn. My hubby is a little more rock n roll, so it was a bit more upbeat for him.
Cinderella by Stephen Curtis Chapman. Awesome song.
Butterfly kisses. Daughters is about a man in love with a woman who is damaged because her father walked out on her. It always makes me sad.
What Dawn said! Listen to the lyrics of daughters and you'll see it's not what fits your happy family. Butterfly kisses is the standard for daddies and daughters, or the ones I listed in your last post are all songs my husband has heard in the car that made him cry!
John Mayer song will have more longevity... it's pretty but not overly sappy.
