Positive TB Skin Test but Negative Chest X-ray

If you live in DuPage County, there is a TB clinic in Wheaton that is free of charge. The nurses there are great. I'm sure it is simply that your child has been exposed, but that typically doesn't mean they have it. In most cases, TB is treated with a combination of specific antibiotics - depends whether it is an active or latent case of TB. Every situation seems to be unique.

My father had TB so I have always tested positive~it just means I have been exposed to TB going on 40 years ago now and my health is perfect.

From past experience we were told if the chest xray is neg. There is no concern about TB and no medications are needed. If you are concerned though you should really call your doctor and have them explain it to you.

I'm from Germany and we get vaccinated for TB.This is a problem here in this country I'm having for 15 years, asking why they don't get vaccinated for it.I was working as an RN nurse in Germany and was exposed to TB 3 times!!!
Never got it thanks to my vaccination!!!
I also for fun did the TB test in my hospital once in a while and everytime got a different result,so those test are dumm!!!!
The medication as far as I remember are major, a lot and for a long time.
Please get more information and don't believe everything doctors are telling you,sometimes they do more harm than good.The bad doctors not the good, who really care !!!
