what a coincidence, my hubs' corp office is in Dallas and they're trying to talk him into moving there (as if he'd give up the luxury of his in home office haha) KC has many nice neighborhoods, we like it north of the river (Missouri)because when we bought, its where you could get the most home for your money. That may no longer be as true as it used to be, but with the wonderful new growth and relative lack of congestive traffic, its still where we'll look for our next homne if we stay in the state (i'm all for going home to Louisiana) There are some very nice areas in Kansas as well. The Overland Park/Shawnee areas. What you'll have to be careful of is where your husband will end up working. Its a very nice but very spread out city and traffic can be tough. Ive never lived in a place before that you could drive for hours, with no traffic and still be in the same metro area.
As for churches, they are many denominations and most have good schools, so without being more specific, that'd be hard to mention
