I'm 9 months postpartum...I work out and eat a healthy diet (lost all my weight) but still have the pouch. how do i get rid of it naturally? i'm still young and hope to have more kids so a tummy tuck is not ideal at this time.

I am 4 months postpartum and have been wondering why I still look so preggo also! It didn't seem this big after baby #1, but I was doing crunches more frequently. I'm thinking it will never be the same, and that is why I started showing at only 6 weeks this time around!

I am just as interested in getting an answer as you! I am 2.5 weeks PP and am starting my workouts tonight actually. With my daughter, the pouch never really went away even though I lost all my weight.
I used to work out with a sweat band and that always kept my abs tight. So im gonna get one this weekend and use that. Im really hoping that will help. If not, idk what im gonna do!!!

After three kids, I'm 12 pounds lighter than when I started (I'm 5'7" and 140 pounds).
The key for me is two-pronged:

1)Exercise to the point of breathing fairly heavily and consistently for 20 minutes 4-5 times a week (any activity)
2)Counting every singly gram of food that goes over your lips--I use calorieking.com as a guide. It's very tedious at first, but it really brought to my attention the whole 'portion distortion'.
Good luck, it WILL come off

I had four kids in four years and actually have diastasis recti- seperating of the abdominal muscles- that can not be repaired without sugery. But that is a phenominally expensive procedure so I decided to do as much as I could on my own. What was the most effective was when I took a begginer ballet class. It all works from the core but doesn't do the bulking things like crunches and such so it was wonderful. I am always trying to find anything that will tone things inward but not bulk and ballet was that thing. I had no dancing backgroud at all and just went out and found a adult beginners class. Best of luck!

Go to the library and check out "Get Rid Of Your Mummy Tummy", or google "The Tupler Technique". Shows how to bring back the elasticity of your muscles and work the deep muscles which will help bring it back. Also, do pilates or yoga abs.
