I also agree with the other people who responded that you cannot expect a two-year-old (especially a boy) to be potty trained. My kids' daycare facility/preschool which starts at 15 mos. old and goes up to 5 1/2 years old, will change diapers and/or poopy underwear all the way through, so there are places out there where you do not have to worry about it too soon.
I'm telling you that if you push too hard, it will backfire on you. He has to go at his own pace with encouragement from you. My 4 1/2 year old son has had the peeing down for at least a year now, but we're having big problems with pooping in his underwear. Now I'm getting really worried about him stopping in time for Kindergarten in the Fall. On the other hand, his twin sister started training herself before she was 2 years old. She was potty trained pretty quickly, so it has been hard to deal with my son and the comparisons. They are just totally different, and boys almost always take longer.
I honestly didn't even worry about potty training my son until he was about 2 1/2 and when he finally showed some interest in it. I also did offer little treats if he would go in the potty, and we even used those piddler things in the toilet that he could aim at.
I would check around for a place that will change diapers and help potty train him. Good luck.
