I am 2 weeks late on my period. I have taken 4 tests (not blood) and they all said negative. I know they say that stress plays a hand but i'm not under that much stress. Also seeing a doctor right now is hard because my insurance expired. Has anyone ever had something like this happen? If yes please tell me everything.

What can I do next?

I'd say if the tests are coming back negative, you are not pregnant. Just try to stop thinking/obsessing about it and it will more than likely start. (That's what would happen to me.....Or usually within a day or two of taking a test that said negative, my period would start.)

I was a month late, and took numerous tests which all said negative. Finially I had 1 really weird period (only laster like 2 days and was really light), and two weeks later I started to spot. I told my friend about the spotting but my period not starting and the cramps (she was the same one who gave me all the tests in the first place) she gave me another one, and it was finially positive.
I had to have a blood test and an ultrasound so they could add up what my actual due date was, because of all the screwy periods. I would go to your local Planned Parenthood. Call the 1800 number and make an appointment, that way you wont have to wait all day long. I was in and out of the clinic on an hour when I needed BC pills when my insurance expired. Just be sure to tell them how many urine tests you have taken and how late you are. Good Luck! =)

My periods used to be like that sometimes & I could never figure out why, well in march of 2009 I found out I was pregnant and I was having extreme pain in my left side about where my ovary is so I figured its tubal.. Better get to the dr asap! Turns out I had a cyst burst & the cysts were what caused me to sometimes miss a period.

Well my sister was trying to get pregnant and kept having late periods but negative pregnancy test. She even went two weeks once and thought for sure she was pregnant but then she finally started her period....it was just super late. She wasn't under stress and had no idea why that happened. I guess sometimes out bodies are just kinda funny like that. This doesn't mean you aren't pregnant, you very well could be. Just remember to take your test firs thing in the morning so your pee isn't diluted. And if I were you I wait a few more days or go to one of the planned parenthood free clinics and they can take your blood to see if you are pregnant.

The first time I was pregnant, I was a week late before the OTC test said so. This question has been asked on the boards before (months ago), and some women said that they didn't get a positive pregnancy test until they were a month, two months, or more into the pregnancy.

[Just in case you don't know this...] OTC pregnancy tests measure the amount of hCG (the pregnancy hormone) in your urine. If you're pregnant, the amount in your body should double roughly every 48 hours, but there are things you can do that may cause a negative, even if you are pregnant. This is why they suggest to take the test first thing in the morning -- you've likely been asleep all night, and haven't drunk anything nor used the bathroom in the middle of the night -- so the urine would have the most concentrated amount of the hormone in it. If you take it during the day, especially if you drink and pee a lot, your urine may be so diluted that the test can't detect enough hCG to register a positive.

See if you can find a free or reduced clinic somewhere that can maybe do a blood test or go over other possibilities with you.

You may want to try and get a blood test done because you could be pregnant and your HCG levels may not be high enough to detect with a home pregnancy test. I know you stated your insurance is expired, but maybe you can call around and check to see how much the doctor's office would charge to perform a pregnancy blood test and maybe you can pay out of pocket. Good Luck

When trying to conceive my first, I was once 4 weeks late with no period. All pregnancy tests said no. I took one with my OB/GYN and a blood test with my family practitioner. All came back negative. I had to get a shot of progesterone to "restart" my cycle, and after being 8 weeks late, it came. It was just a really weird cycle, I guess.

If you are worried about it or thinking about it too much, you probably won't get it. When I was trying to get pregnant the first time, my period was late all the time. I once went 89 days without a period and I still wasn't pregnant. I took tons of pregnancy tests that were all negative. When I finally did get pregnant, the test turned positive very quickly and I was only two weeks late. Take the test again but use your urine from first thing in the morning because the hormone the test is looking for is more concentrated in your first urine of the day. If you have any pain or discomfort, you might want to visit a planned parenthood and have them examine you just to be sure there isn't something wrong. Good luck.

This may sound funny, but sometimes wonder/obsessing/fearing that you are pregnant can actually delay your cycle. Our minds and bodies are fascinating in their dance.
