In the beginning stages of early pregnancy (like week one or two) does useing the restroom alot occur like particularly bowel movements. Sorry not trying to be gross...But to start off I had sex with my boyfriend and he ejaculated twice inside of me, then like a few days went by and I came on my period but it started acting weird, it would stop and start when its normally heavy it was light. Then about 2 days when my period was done I had some serious cramps in my stomach, then the next day I had some light pink fluid come out and have been feeling flutters in my lower abdomen, since then I've had headaches, been very sleepy or fatigued, my body has been aching in different weird places and have been using the restroom frequently like 2 or 3 bowl movements a day and frequent urination like hour on the hour even if I hadn't eaten or drank anything. Then when I do eat certain things I feel kind of queasy on the stomach. I'm not on any type of birth control. I don't have any STDs I'm in good health. Now this all has happend within the past 2 or 3 weeks...Someone please help me if its not pregnancy then what is it?

What can I do next?

Hi C. I actually did feel those initial flutters very early in the beginning of my pregnancy. But then I have to admit, my husband and i had specifically planned our night of conceivement so i truly anticipated the flutters but i promise i was not imagining it. I was simply "looking for them" while most women may miss these flutters when they aren't expecting to be pregnant. I also did begin frequenting the bathroom quite often to urinate, and i became fatigued all through my 1st, 2nd trimesters. No issues w/ bowel movements though. As for any aches, pains or nausea, I went without those entirely until this 3rd trimester (everything aches-LOL!)
I can't encourage you enough to start prenatal vitamins immediately. Even if you aren't pregnant after all these vitamins can only help you with your nutrition (and maybe even w/ your fatigue) so please get started on those. You can get them at your local HEB, CVS, or Walgreens for under $12. More importantly, get yourself to a doctor to verify what is causing you to be ill and if you are indeed "with child" then it's time to start making major plans for this little one and begin taking better care of yourself. Wish you all the best.

First you need to find out if you're pregnant for sure. If you are following Dawn B.'s advice will help and second if you are not talk to your GYN about your symptoms because unless you've recently changed birth control or had something traumatic happen your cycles should continue to be normal, whatever is normal for you. Get yourself checked out in either case pregnancy or not.

too soon for flutters. Nothing all that strange about your period - but you had one. That's significant. Sounds more like Hepatitis C. You could've gotten a touch of ecoli in your food or something. Not trying to be mean, but when was the last time you were checked for stds?

To be honest, none of those were really signs that I was pregnant, but every woman's body works differently. You may have some sort of gastrointestinal thing going on...I would schedule a doctor's appointment.

Please, take a 2-pack pregnancy test. If it's negative, and you are still under the weather, please see a doctor. 2-3 weeks is a long time to not act.

If you are pregnant, start prenatals immediately, and setup your first appointment. You will be ultimately responsible for the child's life -- you will need to make good decisions and be stronger and smarter than ever for your baby's sake.

Good luck!
