Pregnancy Symptoms Disappeared. Should I Worry?!

Hi mamas!

I am 11 weeks pregnant as of this morning. I went in for an early ultrasound at 6 weeks and got to see and hear the little heartbeat. I've had blood work and my levels have been just fine. I was having all day nausea and very sore breasts and extreme fatigue since probably about my 6th week. I think I was bloating quite a lot because I was looking 4 months pregnant at 8 weeks! However, my symptoms have tapered off! My breasts no longer hurt at all. My bloating has gotten better and my tummy is flat--you can hardly even tell there is any sort of pooch at all. I am still more tired than normal, but I have much more energy than I had a couple of weeks ago. I haven't had any major cramping or bleeding of any sort, but now I'm wondering if I'm still pregnant!! Should I be worried? I have my 12 week appointment on Thursday, but I'm so worried I'm thinking about calling to see if I can move it up. Am I being paranoid? I can't even feel my uterus yet, and I could have sworn I could feel it right above my pelvic bone when I was pregnant the first time. Any advice would be appreciated!! Thanks mamas!!

What can I do next?

Completely NORMAL! You're entering your second trimester which is when most women typically start to feel much better. I'm expecting #4 and have had NO pregnancy symptoms from the start! Not even one day of morning sickness, but 8 mnths later baby is growing like a weed and doing great. It's hard at your stage of pregnancy because you can't feel the babies movement yet to "know" she's ok every day but don't worry, he/she is just fine and feel relieved you're starting to feel better, it's just how pregnancy works! Congrats and good luck to you!

Relax. Sometimes at the end of the first trimester you will feel better. You have your appointment this week. Every body reacts differently to every pregnancy. I would not be that worried unless you have started bleeding. Do not stress yourself. It is not good for you or the baby. I will pray everything is ok.

I personally think that all sounds normal. But save yourself the stress and call the nurse at the office to discuss it. I think if your symptoms ended ABRUPTLY or if you had bleeding , I might worry. But morning sickness and discomfort do decline around 12 weeks. Also, I think your uterus does shift or settle but I don't remember in what way???? I wouldn't worry too much and try to embrace feeling good finally.

Humph, I've heard rumors about lucky pregnant women who enter their second trimester and suddenly feel wonderful again. I have to say that, even though we've never met, I dislike you from the very bottom of my heart. Lucky b*%$h.

Everyone is so different...as is every pregnancy. It's normal to feel good as you get closer to 12 weeks. My first pregnancy was like that. Suddenly around week 11 or 12 I felt awesome...better than my "non-pregnant" days possibly b/c I was so happy! I'm on my second preganancy and it took at least four months to get rid of the morning sickness and I'm still fairly tired. That being said, always, always, always call your doctor's office if you are worried about something. There is no sense in sitting and stressing about something when a phone call can put you at ease. If there's anything to worry about, your doctor will deal with it immediately and if he/she doesn't, look for a new doctor. These forums are great for reassurance, but since we're all different, it doesn't hurt to make a phone call.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!
