If there is even a faint line, it's positive.
I'm a medic. We give female Soldiers pregnancy tests every day. The instructions on EVERY test state that even a very faint line is considered a positive result.
Best of luck!

Worried that I can't really tell if the test is positive or not - I don't know if the line is too faint or not. Took two, but they each look slightly different. I'm kind of young and inexperienced with this stuff, so I thought I'd ask for advice from more experienced women. This pregnancy is decidedly unplanned, so I'd rather not tell my boyfriend unless I think there is a solid chance that it is positive and I need to go to the doctor.

ETA: The tests were read per instruction, and the results were read per instruction - the pictures were taken at the time of the tests.
ETA2: Thinking I better make an appointment. I have contacted a local resource center, who offers free pregnancy testing and ultrasounds. I'm going to try to see if I can get in there. Took another test, it looks like its positive too then.
ETA3: I just want to thank each one of you for all the supportive and informative answers. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it. Thank you for the answers that keep coming in as well. This made a surprise situation much easier to deal with. Trying to get an appointment today after work. I'll let you all know what happened if you're interested in hearing it later.
Pregnant, it's been confirmed. Thank you all so much.

Those are both positive results, make a dr appt for a blood test to confirm but take it from someone who insisted on taking 3 tests every time just to make sure the first 2 were not wrong, you are pregnant.
Yep - definitely pregnant. It doesn't matter how faint. If that second line shows up, it is definitely positive. I have never heard of a "false positive" so you should go ahead and make an appointment with your doctor.
How young are you? I was also a young mother so if you need help or advice, send me a pm.
I didn't click on your links, but my advice is to wait a week and use the first pee in the morning on another test.
And I've never had an immediate 2 line response that turned out to be negative, however faint.
Congratulations! (Maybe)
:)
PREGNANT 2 lines = pregnant regardless if it is faint or not it still registered the pregnancy hormones.Call your Dr. for a blood test to confirm give them the last day of your menstrual cycle & then you'll be scheduled for your first appt.
Oh yeah, honey. You're pregnant.
congrats, your pregnant according to those tests. So now its off the the doctors, and figure out what to do. Good luck to you no matter the choice, and remember that child's future is the most important thing you need to think about right now.
totally pregnant...twice. congrats!
It depends on how long after you read the results. The directions will say not to read the stick after a certain period of time or it would be considered invalid. It has to be within a certain time frame. If those pictures were taken within the time frame on the directions, then you're pregnant but make an appointment with your OB for a blood test to confirm before making any announcements. I didn't even tell my husband until I had blood tests to confirm.
Even a faint line is a positive. But I'd say those aren't faint. I hope you will find peace with your situation.
like Jessica Wessica said: it depends on how long after taking the test that the line showed up. I left a negative on the bathroom counter one time and at the end of the day a faint line had appeared where there had been none.
You are pregnant. Those are definitely two lines and this is what my tests looked like.
get a digital test!!!.. i had the same problem when i took one if thise + - ones
