Diane Heubusch. Loved her. I used her for my first child, but then decided to have an out-of-hospital birth for my second, otherwise I would have gone back to her.
I've heard lots of good things about Julie Jones.
I just found out that I am pregnant with my 6th baby. I am loooking for a great loving, understanding midwife that delivers at a Salt Lake hospital Or valley . My midwife has moved away out of state. Thank you for any input.

We have a great group of 4 Certified Nurse Midwives. You can call ###-###-#### and we would be happy to do a free consult.

I went to Diane Heubuch with a couple of my babies. I prefer midwives and women. She is great in the office, but she was not encouraging in labor and delivery. I would not recommend her to support a natural delivery.
Intermountain Nurse Midwifery does a wonderful job. There are about 9 midwives in the practice and they deliver at Intermountain Medical Center (IMC). I delivered my last 2 with them and had great experiences. Deedee Fedorchak is my absolute favorite. I still see her as my primary caretaker even though I am done having babies. They are very family friendly and kids are welcome at the appointments which is a definite boon when you have other kids and can't always find a babysitter!
Oh, I love Julie Jones too. She's been my midwife for both of my babies. She's moved to Riverton, and I'm still driving the 45 minutes to see her. I feel like she has taken great care of me, my pregnancies, and my births. Really, she is amazing. I had my sister in laws at my last birth and they were so impressed with her, they are switching. Like the comment said previously, she works well with you for a natural OR medicated childbirth, AND she works well with the doctors. Before any decision, she always double checked with the doctor she works with to make sure he had the same opinion. She also was very patient with my long labors. If you are looking for a doula too, let me know. :)
I don't have a mid wife to recomend, but one suggesstion I do have is to ask someone that you trust who they go to? Maybe a neighbor, but if you decide to go with a ob-gyn, I would suggest DR. Jennifer Homes. She is at the IHC salt lake clinic. I haven't delivered with her yet, but so far I am liking her. She has graduated about seven years ago from the U and seems to know what she is doing.
Good luck
Angela Anderson is the head midwife at IMC in Murray...she is a dear friend of mine and fantastic and loving!!
I also love Julie Jones and highly recommend her!! I am certain that she saved me from a c-section with my last baby. She is the best!!
Her phone number is ###-###-####. Her website is www.rivertonhealthcareforwomen.com.
Julie Jones, CNM is great. I used her for my last baby a year ago for natural childbirth and she was great. She was at IMC but now delivers out in South Jordan but she is so calming and my neighbor that is an OB says she is the best one he would trust women to go to. He works at IMC and said some of the midwives wait too long with complications and have gotten into trouble so the Dr. on call (him) has had to help. Good luck.
