Like many of you, I've been researching natural cures and I am willing to try everything. Unfortunately, I've been sick for 4 days and I just had enough energy to begin this research. I will be drinking ginger tea and raspberry tea, eating crackers before I slowly get out of bed, avoiding the no-no foods, etc.. But...has anyone heard of the 'End Morning Sickness' eBook? Does it work? I don't want to waste money & time if it doesn't. Help Me!

What can I do next?

I used to eat if I started getting nauseated and it would stop. I never puked but it may not work for you. and I was also 40 and pregs.

I went through this with my last pregnancy at age 37. Not sure if it was my "advance maternal age" or just the pregnancy. With my other three in my mid 20's, it wasn't as bad.
Anyway, I sucked on the Preggo Pops that seemed to help. If I felt my breath was "stale", it would make it worse. So, I brushed my teeth often. Now, for some women, brushing made things worse. I also sucked on peppermints, which helped. The things that finally worked the best, were ginger supplements. Capsules with just ginger. I also took an additional B vitamin. I would check with your OB to make sure it's ok.
My SIL had even worse morning sickness and she wore a motion sickness bracelet that helped her initially.
I haven't heard of the ebook, but if you try some different things and they don't work, just talk to your doctor/midwife. You may have to go a different route to get through this part. Sorry about the sickness....good luck!

HI K.,

Sorry but I haven't heard of the ebook. I do know that if you're getting enough nutrition for you and the baby, you won't be sick. (I wish I had known that with my two...) Most prenatals only absorb about 20% of the actual ingredients. And even if they do absorb, the delivery process can sometimes be dangerous. Double check with your OB and check into how yours absorb and get as much info as possible.I can recommend one that absorbs closer to 85-90% if you'd like to go that route.

God bless,

M.

I've heard some moms say that their OB has recommended Flintstones or something similar because of nausea. These don't help plus they are dangerous because they create free radical activity.

One thing that really helped me was not drinking when I ate. I would have bread (couldn't do crackers for some reason) then about a half hour later I would have some water. If I drank with food it seemed to make it worse.at night I had yogurt and an apple before bed . Then i would have my pernatal vitamins. You will find what works for you . I couldn't have anything fried or with vinegar/oil. I could have ranch dressing and didn't crave anyhting sweet. Your body will tell you whatt it can handle.Small meals every 2 - 3 hours and you will do the best . Also, once you start the small meal thing , you will find you won't gain a ton of weight either:)good luck . I hope it passes soon! Remember, It's a sign of a healthy pregnancy!
