How old are you guys?

If shes not pregnant, she will get her period, probably on time. If she is, then she wont get her period.

If shes scared to be pregnant, maybe practice safe sex???

ETA- Jeezus, I feel like I'm teaching sex ED here. Ok, too bad BC made her gain weight, what does she think a pregnancy is going to do? Also, BC doesnt prevent STD's. How about a condom?

Well....if she is pregnant, her period won't come at all. Once she misses it, she can check two weeks after to see if she has concieved. You can tell if you are pregnant two weeks after you miss your period. Was she on birthcontrol or did she do any plan b/morning after pill?

Dollar store pregnancy tests are cheap, but you have to actually have a late period for them to be accurate. For $10- $20 dollars she can purchase early pregnancy tests that allow her to test 3-5 days before the period is missed. First Response is an early testing brand. But its not terribly accurate on the 5th and 4th day before a missed period. Better to wait until she is closer to 2 or 3 days away from her period (with the early detection test).

I would encourage you to encourage her to just ask her boyfriend if he came inside of her. Hopefully this all blows over and it scares her enough to use real birth control.

If she is scared to be pregnant, then she really needs to be informed about all of the forms of birth control that are out there. Planned Parenthood can help her. 'Not knowing' if her boyfriend came is very irresponsible when not planning for a baby if back up birth control isn't used. She could be pregnant even if he pulled out because there is semen in preseminal fluid. Stock of on those pregnancy tests...or diapers...

Whether he came inside or pulled out is irrelevant. She could still get pregnant either way. That is not a birth control method. You are most fertile about 13 days prior to your period. If she's pregnant, she most likely will not have a period. But, sometimes, you do get a period and it's just light or spotty. Only a pregnancy test will know for sure. But they're not super accurate early on. A negative result could still be a positive. Whereas a positive is just that - a positive.

There are several forms of birth control such as IUDs and something that goes in your arm, have no clue what it's called but she can ask her dr. I have to agree with Molly on this. If she didn't want to get pregnant she probably should have used birth control or abstain from having sex. If she is she may still have a period. Some women do some don't. A pregnancy test is the only way to tell. You can get one from the dollar store or even off brands at the grocery store. Take the test first thing in the morning and maybe do more than one to see if they come out the same. Usually about 2 weeks after a missed period you will be able to tell but sometimes longer. If y'all choose to have sex then you should prepare yourselves for what the results could be. Abortion isn't a birth control, Condoms are birth control pills are although they still don't always protect from STDs. I made bad choices and ended up pregnant, single mother for many years. I wouldn't trade my son for all the money in the world but man it was hard.
