Okay everyone I need some advice bad. I was on depo from feb 06-aug 06 skipped aug injection so last one was may 06. I spotted litely in feb 07, march april 07 now on May 20 my period was starting to come back but not heavy flow but not spotting (in the middle). MY fiancee and I bedded either on jun 12 or june 13. Counting back from the may 20th the june 12 would have been day 14 i believe. Well, THis week I have been not feeling well. For the past two days (since wednesday) I have been feeling very nausiou and threw up a few times (now i am not one to get the flu bug). I am due around the july 4th or so to get something (period). Oh and my spotting cycles have been coming every 35-40 day so that is why I said the july 4th date. I took a test Monday but negative. MY friend said if i am preg i would be about 5 wks along. Did anyone get pregnant and felt nausious right away? How soon did u feel nausious? With both of my two kids I never had morning sickness so i dont know what is going on with me. I never had this before and dont know what to think of it. THe nausious feeling starts from like 4am and doesnt end til sometime during the day.... What can I take? Please someone help....

What can I do next?

I had some sort of virus about 2mos ago and I was only nausious as was my daughter late at night and we would vomit all night long, but felt great during the day. Lasted daughter 5 days lasted me 11 days. So there are weird viruses out there.

I would just take another pregnancy test soon. And see what that says.

Good luck! I have been off from depo for 2 years now and I still can't get pregnant. Depo is a form of birth control I would NEVER use again and NEVER reccomend to a friend. Especially if you want to have more children. To many people have had bad experiences with it.

I did feel nauseous right away with both pregnancies. But you could also have a virus. Test again over the next few days. Maybe get one of the digital tests or "find out early" tests as they are more sensitive to the PG hormone.

If you are PG, there is not much you can take for the nausea. Try to eat whatever does not sound gross to you. Some people have had good luck with lemonade, ginger ale or ginger candies.

I used depo and it took me years to become pregnant after I stopped using it. With my first child I didn't feel morning sickness untill about 2 mos. in. But with my second daughter I knew I was pregnant within the first month because of nausea. Even though I was nearly 3 mos with my first child when I found out I was pregnant the test only showed up very faint. Go to your GYN and ask for a blood test. This is the most accurate way to find out early for sure.

K., I'm an OB nurse and from my experience, you start to feel morning sickness at any time. Also, all pregnancies are different so even if you haven't felt this way in the past it doesn't mean that it wouldn't happen this time. Over the counter pregnancy tests have gotten really reliable over the years (you can repeat the test in a couple of days), but the blood test in the office is going to be more accurate. If you are concerned, just call your OB and see if you can get in for a preg. test in the office. If it is positive, there are meds that they can give you for the "morning" sickness. Whether you are pregnant or not, if you can tolerate it, you should start taking a prenatal vitamin (if you aren't already). All women of childbearing age should take a prenatal vitamin daily because the folic acid supplement is so important to the development of the baby in the first few weeks....even the ones when you don't yet know if you are pregnant. If you take it either way then the folic acid is already on board.
If you get into the office and you find out that you are not pregnant, they still may be able to figure out what is causing the nausea and help treat it.
Good luck!
