My daughter attends Legacy Christian Academy and we love it. She's currently in the Pre-K 4 class. Last year, in the 3 y.o. class, we paid $4000/year and this year we pay $4300/year.
I have been reading past requests and respones on preschools but no one puts the price. I live near Spring Creek and Coit and I am thinking of Canyon Creek but they are so expensive and I don't want to travel to far. Moms if you have used or use any of the preschools in this area could I get some average prices. It's getting overwelming! If you know what you are paying or paid for tuition that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Please don't confuse preschools with day care centers. Even if the day care center offers a preschool program. I would start by looking at the webiste for child care licensing. You can put in your zip code and then see all the licensed child care centers in your area. You can also see any violations that the school has had with the state. I am a preschool director in Grapevine and this is a great tool that most paretns don't know about.
Good Luck!
Soraya Montessori Academy- Custer and Spring Creek. $620 per month. sibling discounts also. Details below of all included for monthly tuition price.
I researched ALL the Plano, Richardson and Allen Montessori schools in the area by either computer online, mail, phone or in-person interviews. I have a 2 year old daughter and 4 year old son. We chose Soraya Montessori Academy- 6000 Custer Road in Plano-corner of Spring Creek and Custer. Phone ###-###-####. This is a warm, nurturing small school Montessori environment which gives individual care and attention to our children. No Montessori school can beat the tuition cost which includes Montessori teachings and equipment, certified Montessori teachers, breakfast, morning snack, hot lunch and afternoon snack. No additional cost for snacks or lunch prices. Full-time tuition is so amazing and you don't have to worry about extras such as early morning care and after school care--great for working Moms--open from 7:30am to 6:00 pm. Also- very limited vacation calendar great for working parents. All inclusive amazing tuition price. You are paying for the quality care and Montessori education in a small scale warm "super clean" school environment. They constantly clean, disinfect and wipe everything and playground equipment. You can tell many other private Montessori schools have higher prices for the large buildings, fancy chandeliers and the fluff that does not calculate into the individual quality care and attention. I researched all over the internet and visited/toured many Montessori schools around the Plano area and did not feel comfortable with large size Montessori commercial feeling environments and high student/teacher ratio for my young children. It is truly a "hidden gem" like the other Mamasource Mom said (word of mouth advertising must keep tuition cost low). We are a very very happy family now and my husband and I can go to work in peace because of Soraya Montessori Academy!!
Tricia - are you looking to enroll her in only a preschool program? (Say, 9-2) or full-time care for a preschooler? I agree with Kim - preschool and daycare are not the same thing. Most daycares offer a preschool curriculum, but may not offer preschool hours & rates. You can also have an MDO that mimics preschool hours, but may not have the curriculum you want. And everyone has completely different fees, tuition rates, add-ons, etc. It is most certainly extremely overwhelming - I feel your pain!
www.savvysource.com is a website dedicated solely to preschools. It's director & parent driven for information, including rates, so you might have some luck there.
I'm launching a business with 4 other mamasource moms that gives you in-depth info on all daycares in DFW. We're not officially launching until early January, and we're still filling in the holes in our database, but if you want to PM me & tell me what you're looking for, I can search our database & give you any info I have on any center near you.
Good luck!

We use Primrose in McKinney and love them. My daughter is only 21 months old but to give you an idea of prices we pay $949 a month. The price goes down about $20-$30 a week as she gets older.
They are a little pricey but they are worth every penny. I love Primrose, and I am sure if you have a location near you they are just as good.
My children attend a church preschool from 9-2 and the tuition for 3 days is $195 and for 4 days is $245 a month. As far as price is concerned, you can't beat a church-based preschool. But you will only get 5 hours a day, no aftercare options. Our particular preschool is very good, very highly regarded, but is inexpensive because the church doesn't charge the school any fees. The name of it is Kid Care and it's at Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church in Allen. They open enrollment the first week in Feb next year.
Hi Tricia
I live in the same area. My two children go to Merryhill School at Spring Creek and Custer area. They love it!
If you live at Spring Creek and Coit you should check out Primrose PreSchool. I am not sure of the prices, but you should give them a call. They are the best, so if you want the best school of your child I recommend that school. They are family owned and operated and have the best staff. The phone number ###-###-####. Good luck!
