I have an almost 4 year old and I am looking for affordable preschool in Oxford. It would need to be a facility that provides transportation...buses! He would be the first to go off to school and I have no idea where to send him. I did some hunting on-line but there are no preschool programs that I found in the public school district of Oxford. Any info will help. Thanks!

call them up I do know that L.O. has buses that drop off the children (I see them everyday)

My kids go to the Early Childhood Programs through Lake Orion schools and the CERC there. They are wonderful, but they don't bus preschool. They do start early, it's worth checking out. Some of the Elementary schools have programs in their school and they might bus. We're very happy with the program and so are our boys!

Oxford should have some sort of preschool programs but you will find most preschools do not bus unless your child is special ed. I would call your closest elementary school and ask them. There are also a couple churches up and down Lapeer that offer preschool, too. But again, probably no busses. I myself live in the Red Barn sub and am on the Orion/Oxford border so my kids all attended preschool through Orion. Hope this helps - S.
Yes, Oxford public schools do have preschool programs. Preschool is held at Lakeville Elementary. However they do not have bussing.
