Preschool Suggestions for Four Year Old in or near North Kingstown, RI

There are a couple local Co-op preschools with which I have had great experiences. The Children's Workshop Co-op (aka Little Red Schoolhouse - http://www.thechildrensworkshop.org/index2.html) is right on School Street in Davisville and the Barbara Tufts (East Greenwich) Co-op (http://www.barbaramtufts.org/) is great, too. These schools are very reasonably priced (the latter is on a sliding scale) and I have really enjoyed being "Parent of the Day" and being involved in the classroom.

I used to be a nanny in the North Kingstown area (about 5+ years back) and at that time, The Little Red School House on School Street and The Little Red Hen (I think it's on Potowomut) were both highly regarded.

The Children's Learning Express, on RT1 is wonderful. Miss Jill, the director is great, and the teachers are wonderful too. My Daughter went there for 2 years. They gave her a wonderful foundation to start school on. They are a little expensive, but for a pre-schooler they are worth it. However, if you are going to send more than one they are expensive.
