Any decent school will keep it below ration, look for that when considering. I was a pre-k teacher years ago and they had a 15 kid max and it could still get a little crazy.
Does anyone know the legal student/teacher ratio for 4 year olds in texas preschools?

The state of Texas Minimum standards are:
1 to 20 for 4 year olds
1 to 17 for 3 year olds
The National Association for the Education of Young Children recommends 1 to 10 for four year olds and 1 to 8 for three year olds. You can go to the NAEYC website to find preschools that are accredited by NAEYC. But there are also a lot of schools that aren't accredited but still have NAEYC ratios.
It depends on the type of childcare Facility
Here are the standards for Texas.
