Hello to all, Have anyone tried Primorose School in Hidden Lakes, Keller? Why is it so difficult to get a spot in that school?
My son just turn 4 and I have him in Grapevine for it is closer to my work and because my husband travels a lot, at the time looked like a good idea, but we want to transfer him to one closer to home so when it's time to go to Kindergarden he will already have some friends from the area. Can someone recommend another Pre-K/Daycare that is in the HL area? I would like him to start next summer in a new school/daycare. Thank you!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Because of the responses, I was able to find out that there was a spot in a school closer to home and got it! Took my son to see the school and he liked it, so he will start in a couple of weeks... thank you so much, now he will be in the area, meet new friends and be in the school district he belongs. Thank you for all your answers!!!

i already posted something but i thought that i would let you know that we do have one spot open there. its hidden lakes, southlake...the border of keller and southlake. we have a spot that just opened up so if you call or come by today i'm sure that we can work something out. my boss said to let you know and they'd love to show you around. have a wonderful day. since you're child is 4 yrs old try the 4k2 class, thats the spot that is open. all of our students are four now so they'll all be the same age.

It's not really just there..twice in the 4.5 years since we moved here I tried getting my kids into a good dacare *any of then around here and couldn't find a single one with openings for both my kids. I called over 2 dozen in our area...you'd think with so many it wouldn't be that hard..
You can always get on a waiting list ahead of time but there is another Primrose over here as well. Stepping Stones on Alta Vista is also really good.

DO NOT go to the Children's Courtyard on Smithfield in NRH. My kindergartner started there at the beginning of the school year and we can't stand it. There is a wonderful Primrose on Mid-Cities in Hurst if that is not too far.

I am not sure where HL, Keller is but my kids go to Kids R Kids in Keller (on keller Hicks between 377 and Alta Vista) and it is great. The staff is great and they have a great curriculum. Also if you kids go to Keller Schools for K which is 1/2 day they finish the other 1/2 day with education also. Good luck and let me know if you have any quesitons.

I cannot speak to the Children's Courtyard in NRH, but I will tell you that there is a lovely Children's Courtyard facility IN Keller and the director's name is Debi. She is terrific. I encourage you to drop by there or give them a call.

My daughter attends the Children's Courtyard Lab school in Bedford and we have been mostly very pleased for the past three years.

The owners of that HL Primrose also own the Southlake location at 1709 and Kimball behind the Chic-fil-A. They are wonderful. Maybe that is closer for you? (My cousin is actually the asst. director at the HL location.) But I will use the Southlake location with my newborn in a couple of months because of the location. I would go ahead and put your name on the waiting list at HL and/or Southlake, spots may open up. Good Luck!

Try Preschool Academy ###-###-####) on Davis before Precinct Line Rd. We went there for 4 yrs (my daughter just started Kindergarten). They are a family owned (all sisters) small school, Christian based and teach ABEKA curriculum. They are awesome! Good luck!

I have a good friend that works there- my son goes to the one in Bedford. She used to work at that one until gas prices got too high. She says it is a really good school. I would take my son there but I live in Bedford and it just would not work for us.
