Has anyone ever used "OOgles & Googles" for a kid's party? I saw their website and am inquiring. This is the first year my daughter is really into incorporating her ideas into the party. I hesitate to bring it up with her or I'll be adding more and more to her list of requirements!

What can I do next?

We used Once upon a Bash for a Dino Dig party and the kids loved it. They provided everything and did all the work. It was a great experience. They also have a princess party that I was planning to do for my daughter.

Go to BirthdayExpress.com. They have really good prices and have Packs that include everything you need for a party. We've used them for years and haven't broken the bank yet. And if you need extras prices are great. They have an online catalog and a paper catalog. Don't stress to much. Have fun planning with her.

I have to say I'd never seen the site so I went to investigate. It looks really cool but I'd hate to know the price tag that goes along with it...especially since it's not published... I think you need to decide how much you want to be involved. Birthday parties are time consuming and often times you don't get the pictures you'd like b/c you're too busy playing hostess...with that in mind this looks awesome...

If, however, she is really interest in the planning of the party, then this doesn't sound like something she may be interested in. I love the dress up idea (but you could always tell everyone to come dressed up as their fav. princess) and follow their same ideas of having a story, playing princess games, etc.

I have to say, I am interested in hearing more about the site...it would be a nice break from being the party planner. L.

Oogles and Googles does a program at the preschool that my son goes to. Although he isn't quite old enough to participate yet, all the kids that do seem to enjoy it very much. Also I don't know if it is because it is an additional program offered at the school but the price is very reasonable (although we pay a pretty high premium at the school so they may be footing some of the bill) Hope this helps.

Personally, I LOVE planning my girls' birthday parties. It's totally insane to me how much party planners charge and I'm shocked that people are willing to spend that much money. There are often easy, fun, inexpensive ways to have a GREAT kids' party without going over-the-top, setting up an expectation for even better and better each year, or trying to one-up your friends and neighbors. Go to birthdaypartyideas.com for some awesome do-it-yourself ideas. You CAN do it and your daughter will love being a part (you choose which parts) of the process.

My daughter just turned 5 in oct. we had a princess party the last two years she loved it!! The girls came dressed as their favorite princess and I'm lucky I have two teenage girls that love to come to her party! They painted the girls nails and did makeup (I asked the parents first) then they helped them make crowns (you can get a kit at wal-mart in the craft dept.) Then they were ready for the tea party!! I served finger pb&j cut into heart shape and some other finger food and then we had rasberry sherbert icecream and 7-up to drink (was a big hit). We played some of her princess cd's. They had a blast none of them wanted to go home it was a wonderful party both years! She already says she wants to have another one next year!! Let her pick her favorite colors for the party supplies and some of the food!! Good Luck!! Rhonda

I belong to the Chesterfield Moms meetup and we have a member that has a company that does parties and there are a ton of options available. My daughter is only 2 so I haven't tried her yet. Heres the website for the Princess Party & Visit, but there are many other ideas
