Providing DayCare in My Home

hi A. - what will you be charging for daycare. i have a 3 month old right now and am looking for options come november. also - where are you located? will you be licensed at all?

I might be looking for childcare in February for my daughter who will be four months old by then. I currently have her on two daycare waiting lists that don't look hopeful. Could you send me more information about your plans? Specifically Pets? Smoker? Licensed? CPR certified? Number of children you would like to look after?

I have a 4 month old and will be going back to work in about 3 weeks. I would be very interested in your new center. I've had very similar thoughts to doing what you are planning to do but don't have the guts to do so yet :-).

I work for Kraft Foods up in Glenview but own a house in Logan Square. I am very familiar with the Albany Park neighborhood from visiting friends. I used to live in Lincoln Square. I will be going to work 3X week for 3 months. My hope is to continue to work part-time over there but that is up in the air.

Please let me know how your center plans progress and if you would consider a part-time child.

I wanted to know more info about your at home day care. I need something affordable, and the hours may be just part time- my husband works nights so he can care for the baby part of the day and sleep part of the day. I have a 15month old boy and live by Albany Park.

Hi was interested finding an in home daycare, and saw your message. Not quite sure where Albany Park is though.

I am expecting in January and will be looking for care starting in March. Where are you located and how much are you planning to charge per week?

I am expecting in Feb. and will return to work in April 2006. I live in Ravenswood / Albany Park area - -my husband is also an attorney and I work for the Field Museum. I was thinking that by April '06 your son would be old enough that you may be willing to take on a younger baby. If so would you please send me details on what you are thinking in terms of your in-home daycare (how many children would you take, rates, your vacation and sick day policy).
