our little boy is almost one!!! i want to have his birthday party at a pumpkin patch in the 1st part of oct. and i'm wondering if anyone else has done this in the past. we live in mpls. and i'm thinking of going to one in stillwater. anyone have a suggestion of a location that may also have indoor options as well incase of bad weather? thanks in advance for any advice!
We've been to Sponsel's Minnesota Harvest which has a large indoor area with a bakery, fireplace, and sometimes live music. I know they do birthday parties so you might want to give them a call.

I've taken our daughter three to the Afton Apple Orchards, very fun maze also playground. They have good food made out of apples. Aftonapples.com Also Minnetonka Orchards is a lot of fun too. Have a great time! A.
I have been to Afton, Pine Tree and Aamodts and all are really fun for the kids. I believe that Afton is the only one that allows you to actually pick your own, but I would check. Aamodts has a lot of activities going on as well.

afton apple orchard. it has a petting zoo, hay rides, and more. plus there is an indoor eating area.
Here is another vote for Afton! Great stuff for kids - check out their website for indoor options. I know you can rent an indoor space there.
Emma Krumbee's has an indoor area. But that might be too far for you. There is also another one in Shakopee off Hwy 169 that has an indoor area where they serve apples, cider, hot cocoa, etc. But I can't think of the name of it.
