Hey all-

I am looking for a good punch/drink type recipe that has alcohol in it. I am having a girls night out (pure romance) party and will be having around 12-14 people there. I am just going serve some snacks and want to provide a beverage for people but dont have any recipes for that type of a drink. What is your favorite beverage that serves a decent amount of people?

thanks!!

What can I do next?

I used to be the official drink master for all the girl gatherings in my 20's. I don't drink any more but I still love mixing delicious drinks. I'll give you my "secret" recipe for two of my favorite drinks One is a punch and one isn't.

Fruity Tropical Punch
1 can pineapple juice
1 can frozen orange juice
1 can frozen lemonade
1 can frozen limeade
1 container of frozen strawberries
Garnish with a fresh strawberry or twist of lime
Rum is optional
INSTRUCTIONS - in a large mixing bowl mix all the juices, add water according to the instructions on the frozen juice packages. Let strawberries thaw in drink mixing occassionally. Add rum to taste. (Note - you should really not taste the rum but after a few of these standing just isn't an option.) YUM.

Pina Colada
Vanilla Ice Cream
1 large can of pineapples
1 can coconut milk
Kahlua to taste optional
Garnish with whip cream drizzled with caramel
INSTRUCTIONS - Put 3 - 4 generous scoops of ice cream into a blender, add pineapples (juice included), coconut milk and Kahlua Should be thick like a shake. To thicken add more ice cream, to thin add more pineapple juice or coconut milk or Kahlua. Drizzle interior of glass with caramel, add the pina colada, whip cream and caramel on top. Delicious.

Have fun!!!! From the mix master. I actually love both of these options without the alcohol.

I use frozen lemonade one regular one pink, can also use one limeade. Reconstitute one, leave the other frozen--pour into punch bowl--add a 2 liter bottle of ginger ale could add vodka. I have a cake pan shaped like a star I slice oranges, put in pan fill with water and freeze. Run hot water over pan and put ice w/ oranges in punch.

I just made a tropical rum punch that people loved. I put in a block of pineapple sherbet - cut into chunks, A can of frozen oj, a can of frozen limeade, coconut rum and a bottle of sprite. I did it in batches in the punch bowl. Half the frozen juice and sherbet and poured rum and sprite over it to to taste. Using the frozen ingrediants keeps it cold and using the sprite makes it frothy. I floated orange rings and pineapple rings in it for effect. No color to worry about staining the carpet if a tipsy guest spills!

I used to make jungle juice back in the day. tasted just like kool ade. its was really good. also everyone pitched in a pint or 5th depending on how many people, but thats besides the point.

you need
hawaiian punch, oj (not concentrate), lemonade (frozen or fresh)
vodka (cheap stuff)
rum (cap morgan)
taquilla (your choice)
triple sec
99 bananas
fresh cut fruit
first make the juice then add the liq. and lots of ice needs to be chilled. add the fruit about an hour before everyone arrives so it can absorb the juice, add more juice if needed for you liking.

our favorite punch is the following you can add in liquor if you want I would suggest that you have something non alcoholic at your party as not everyone drinks.

1 large jug Hawaiian punch
2 2 ltr bottles ginger ale
can of pinapple juice
vodka or rum is optional add as much as you want

in large punch bowl put half the Hawaiian punch, half the pinapple juice and the bottle of ginger ale mix it up. if you have a jello ring you can pour some of the punch in it and add some strawberries or raspberries and freeze. then put it in the top of the punch bowl it looks nice and keeps the punch cold.
