I am looking for some recipes for teething biscuits that don't contain egg or a ton of sugar. I want to make them for my 10 month old. I think it will be a lot cheaper than store bought ones.
Thanks in advance

I made most of my children's food and made a few teething biscuits. Here is one of the websites from which I would get recipes. Good luck!

Hi Mary-
If you go to Yahoo and go to groups and join this group "BabyfoodClub" you will find hundreds of ideas for baby/toddler food. There are at least 10 different teething biscuts ideas.
Good luck

I don't have a homemade recipe, but fyi, the Gerber biter biscuits are aweful. They dissolve before the kid has a chance to bite into them. The baby only makes a mess of it and smears the pasty dissolved biscuit all over. That's what happened with us and others have said it happened to them. The Gerber fruit and veggie puffs are great (though my first baby didn't like them, but my second loves them). And I've heard the zieback (sp?) toast ones are great. WIth my first not liking the puffs, he ate cheerios and Kix cereal all the time when he was first learning to bite. And that is definitely cheaper than the Gerber particularly when it's on sale. Hope that helps, though I don't have any recipes like that. I just recommend cheerios and Kix in particular. :)
