Recommendations for a Recurrent Pregnancy Loss Specialist in Chicago?

Following recurring pregnancy losses, I've recently been found diagnosed as homozygous for the MTHFR gene, which is involved with increased risk of blood clots during pregnancy.
I'm currently visiting my native country where I met with specialists who have put me on Lovenox and recommend I take it from ovulation to period, or ovulation through pregnancy.

I'm seeking recommendations from women who've had similar problems and are from Chicago/Oak Park regarding recurrent pregnancy loss specialists or reproductive endocrinologists who adhere to similar treatments for this situation.

I have BCBS PPO insurance which is accepted almost everywhere in the area.

Thanks!

So I'm new in the country and just heard shockingly that Mary Stephenson charges 1049$ for the initial 60 minute consultation. no email or phone consultation possible. Plus i need to drive 5 hours to Chicago for it. Seriously? I just want someone to assess my situation, feeling feeling sad about the system.

I am very sorry for your losses. I've lost four pregnancies so I understand how you're feeling. You are not alone! My friends with clotting issues and related pregnancy losses have been to Dr Mary Stephenson at UIC. She's the most amazing doctor who will run every possible test to help find more answers than you knew you could find. Wishing you well on this journey!

The absolute best doctor/reproductive endocrinologist in the Chicago area who specializes in recurrent pregnancy loss is Dr. Carolyn Coulam. She has an office in downtown Chicago and Evanston

I am so sorry to hear of your losses. I have had three myself but am currently pregnant with my second child. This would not have happened without the help of Dr. Mary Wood Molo through the Women's Health Consultants @ Rush Medical Center. I too have issues with clotting as well as a couple other issues & I just cannot speak highly enough of Dr Wood Molo & her wonderful staff. You can reach them @ ###-###-####. I know it is so difficult but stay positive & good luck!

I know several people who have seen someone down at Univ. of Chicago hospitals. I believe it's Mary Stephenson. (she's at U OF C not UIC). Happily, both friends of mine who saw her have babies in their homes now!
