Red Bumps on Skin

There are measles and a virus called Fifth Disease - but most all of these start on the child's core area (tummy, neck, back, back of neck) rather than the arms. Have you inspected her? Are they multiplying. Have you bathered her to remove anything she's come in contact with? If it doesn't go away but doesn't carry any other symptoms like fever, call your pediatrician and ask what it could be before you wasite your time and his but in case it is important. I love that my daughter's birthing hospital had a line to call for any questions like that. A physician's assistant was there and ready to answer all these questions right then and there, no charge.

If the bumps are between folds of skin or in areas where friction happens, skin-to-skin or skin-to-fabric, heat rash is possible. It tends to sting or itch.

Many home cleaning products are seriously irritating or even toxic. What was the powder you used? If the ingredients aren't listed, try googling the product to find out what's in it.

I have serious reactions to a long list of chemicals found in most household cleaners, and have found that baking soda or vinegar, straight or diluted in water, do a pretty fantastic job cleaning all sorts of things. They are non-toxic and cheap.

I would contact a Dr. If the dots look like blood dots (the kind you see on older women) then you need to take them to the Dr. immediately- Those can be a sign of a serious illness like leukemia or liver failure or a hematology problem.

If they are not blood dots then they are probebly nothing to woory about and you can try using cordazone cream.

Could be scarlett fever, which is just strep with a rash. My daughter had it a few months ago, tiny red bumps all over that did not hurt or itch, she had little to no fever, and did not have a sore throat. A way to tell if it is that they will get "strawberry tongue", which it gets pinker and the taste buds are more pronounced. You would need to take her to the doctor for it though or it could get worse. You might want to take her anyway if it does not go away soon.

Our doctors office has a triage nurse who answers phones and determines if the children need to be seen. If your has one too, you may want to call and describe the rash to them.

Never put your baby in contact with chemicals/toxins! At the same time, she HAS to get her tummy time at least 4 times a day for 30 minutes so put down a huge sheet and let her stay on her tummy there with her toys and you singing, playing with her. The floor is a baby's playground, and the only way for them to fully develop, so find a way to make it work without using any thing to make her allergic. The bumps may also be from somehitng she is eating. MIlk, soy and grains are huge problems for lots of kids.

I would take her in to get checked out, a lot of rash viruses have been going around the last couple weeks. My son is 7 months old and just had Roseola and my neighbors son just had Fifths disease.
It most likely is just a heat rash, but never can be to safe:) Good luck!
