I'm working on weaning my 14 month old daughter. She won't take the milk from the sippy cup. I'm looking for suggestion as to what kind of sippy cups would be good to try. Please include where I can find the suggested sippy cup if possible.

My son wouldn't use a sippy cup, either, but he LOVED straw cups. I always found some great ones at Wal-Mart, that had a flip cover, so you don't have to worry about spills or losing caps.

My daughter still gives me a hard time about drinking her milk from a sippy....when I had a rough time transitioning I was told to get the Nubbie brand sippy from Walmart..the nipple is squishy and much like a bottle nipple....she didnt like it but I know many people that it has worked for....I would start with that and see if it helps.

I swore by the NUBY, found out WalMart for both my children. They have a few variaties to chose from. They all have soft, nipple like tops but there is a specific one that has a longer type dispenser that mirrors a nipple. It is a GREAT way to eliminate the bottle immediatley and then slowly transition to other sippy cups. I have had many other friends with the same success.

Hi E.,my son never would use a sippy cup but loved using a cup with a straw. The one that seemed to leak the least is by Munckin the Cupsicle Insulated My First Straw Cup. I have found them at Walmart and Shaws.Good luck!
I second the Nuby brand, it was a great transition from bottle to sippy. Then after several months of that we went to a regular sippy. I got mine at Target, but have also seen them at Stop and Shop.
