i was looking at houses in RI and the site riliving.com has a link for school ratings. it might help you decide where to rent.
good luck!
My husband is being transferred to the area and I need to know where we should be looking for a place to rent. What are some of the areas to avoid? Where are the best public schools? And anything else I am sure I forgot to ask. Thanks in advance.

As far as schools go you can find a lot of information on greatschools.net The website ranks most area schools. Hope that helps a little.
We generally have apartments available, depending on where in RI you decide to live. We're also looking to rent out a single family home. When are you looking to move? If you want more info, feel free to email me ____@____.com
Good Luck
Barrington is 10 min drive to Providence and they have the Best Schools ,i would not consider Providence to live or go to school. P.S. my profile is old. I'm a 44 year old mother of 4 Great kids my oldest is going to collage and my youngest is going into frist grade my Son is going into 6th and my foster son will be going into the 4th.
It depends on your budget. What are you looking to spend? I live in West warwick in the Greenbush area and they have a nice school system, but their are some areas in my town that you may not want to live in. West Warwick on average, we use to be landlords... is for a 2 bed anywhere from $700- $1,000 the higher you pay the better the place. East Greenwich, North Kingstown East side of Providence very expensive, but North Providence cheaper.. I guess I need to know more info on where you are looking so I can help you better and not ramble so much
