Restaurant Ideas near Parker or Lone Tree CO

I was wondering if anyone had any good suggestions of places to try for dinner. I am tired of the same old places and am looking for something different. I would like to find someplace nice that 4 adults and one 7 year old will like. Its a grown up birthday dinner. I love Italian and awesome deserts, so those are always a plus. I live in the Parker area and am willing to drive a bit, but not sure if I want to go downtown. Thanks for any recommendations in advance.

What can I do next?

Hi,

We love Pasquini's also and the Cheesecake Factory. Also, if Castle Rock isn't too far, there is a place called Union. It's owned by the same people who own Uniscalli. I haven't been to Uniscalli, but Union has amazing food.

Have fun!

I love Yanni's in the Landmark Center in Lone tree - greek food, but your son would have be an adventurous eater to like the flavors - one of my kids did and one didn't.

I am the last person to be into chain restaurants, but several at the Park Meadows Mall outdoor area are great. I've taken many people to Brio there and every one has loved it. Reasonable prices, good Italian food, terrific service and good ambience. I've been to Venice down south and in Lodo and, though the food was good but that's it's very pricey.

I do agree that Venice is very good. Another option is Uniscali in Castle Rock. They are considered "modern Italian" their menu is very creative and unique, prices are reasonable and the food is very good. It is small in there so reservations are suggested and I believe they are only open for dinner now Thursday thru Saturday nights.

This might be a bit far for you, I am not sure, but you have to try Venice Ristorante on Orchard and Holly in DTC. In my opinion it is the best authentic Italian food in town. It is not necessarily "kid friendly" but I bring my kids and everyone loves the food.

If you go, Alessandro is the owner (straight from Venice, Italy) and Rodney is the Wine Sommelier, tell them T. sent you. They will take care of you. Hopefully they are there the night you go.

Enjoy!

I have to second Pasquini's- we love that place!! Easy to get to (near Sam's Club on Quebec and C470). The food is excellent, and for kids, they bring out a hunk of dough for them to just play with while everyone looks at the menus. And then if they order pizza, they get to make their own (with new dough, of course).

Venice was mentioned, and is good, too. More formal than Pasquini's.

Hi K. - I agree Venice is a wonderful place to eat but I would say definitely not kid friendly and the price tag, especially with wine, can get pretty high.

The best time to go to Venice is during happy hour where you can buy the small portion plates of the same entrees they serve for dinner.

I would suggest something like Maggiano's by Park Meadows or Armando's in Parker at Lincoln/20 Mile
