Does anyone have a cure for Rosacea? The older I get, the more difficult it is to manage. I'm unable to take antibiotics and don't like their effects on my body. I'd be grateful for anything you have found workable. Many blessings to each of you.

So What Happened?

Thanks to all of you for your support. I understand that the 'source' of rosacea is an ineffective digestive system which feeds mites among other things, so I have gone on an extensive diet to support healing of the digestive tract. All our systems are intertwined, so my diet excludes items supporting candida or insulin resistence. It ain't easy, folks, or short term. I lost 14 pounds in two months, my skin is better, muscle tension is lessened. I'm adding tea tree oil topically and 1/2 t cider vinegar in water at meals. My chosen outcome is for my entire body to be healthier, cleaner and more functional. Thanks again. J.

I had it pretty bad and the only thing that worked for me was the Timewise line from Mary Kay. I liked it so much I started selling it, and getting a discount. Message me if you don't have a MK lady or are interested.

Since you cannot take antifiotics, you can control your Rosacea with lotions. I am a senior sales director with Mary Kay and I have several customers that have resacea. We also have doctors on staff that can help us deal with it. If you are interested in talking to me about it, please give me a call. ###-###-####)

Tea Tree oil will help also. Just put a few drops on the effected area and it should help clear it up naturally. You can buy it at any health food store or I am a consultant for Daisy Blue Naturals and I would be happy to get a bottle to you.

Here is some information on Daisy Blue Naturals. Daisy Blue Naturals has created body and home products from natural, wholesome ingredients. Terrific proponents like grape seed oil, sweet almond oil, shea butter, and oatmeal combine to make an outstanding product! I especially like the fact that Daisy Blue does not use HARMFUL CHEMICALS in any of their products. So all of their soaps, lotions and other items not only smell amazing, but they are safe and non-irritating for everyone in the family from the littlest to the biggest!

Hello J.. I am just about to become a grandmother - (in May). We are so excited. But I wanted to let you know I that I have the same problem and found out this little bit of information. I was told to avoid coffee, excessive alcohol or tobacco, and exposure to heat, as they can all intensify this skin disease. Treating the skin as though it has acne has proven to be quite effective. So with that little bit of information I would also go a step further and look up this website that I stumbled across several years ago. You just might find it helpful, I don't know but you might give it a shot. Good luck! http://www.ahealthcafe.com/wood

I know this is an old post but my mom and I both have Rosacea, mine is mild hers included swelling of the nose as well as the face. I found MSM cream didn't just control but improved both of our skin!!! It didn't happen right away and all the other stuff you mentioned is part of it but it made an improvement big time. I use the NOW brand from a local organic store. There is MSM cream with glucosomine stuff that people use for pain and arthritis management but this is the straight MSM cream and put it on my face AM and PM. We've both tried a ton of stuff and this made a real difference.
