That sounds lovely...I really enjoy high tea and you can't beat $10pp.
I could use that revived feeling myself...let me know if/when you get a group together.
Anyone interested in meeting over Sat afternoon tea in Long Grove once/twice a month? Its $10.75 pp (tea sandwiches and desserts)and time is 2p-3:30p.
I had tea with my sisters a few weeks ago and came home to my kids and husband refreshed. It was a nice getaway(only 2 hour).
I've tried joining some play groups but keeping a consistent meeting is tough between child illness and other activities.
Anyone interested please let me know.

hi F.,
tea sounds great. we are in lake villa and i'm not too sure how far away long grove is..but if i don't have to bring my son with me it doesn't really matter! it would be great to get out and have adult time. let me know if you plan anything.
best regards,
R.
Hi F.,
Can you tell me what restaurant in Long Grove that does this? It sounds like fun & I mentioned to some moms in my moms group and we may be interested in trying it out.
Thanks

I would love to. I live in the Elgin area so Long Grove wouldn't be to far away- it sounds like a nice little get away. Let me know when and where.
Sounds like fun.

Hi, This sounds interesting, like something I would like to do, I haven't been to a tea time yet, I heard about the Drake Hotel in Chicago has a high tea time for 30.00, sounds elegant, being its at the Drake, I am interested, I live in the Wheeling area, I have a 17 yr old daughter, and one cat, Im a homemaker, and want to meet new people and get out.
