I am looking for a scrapbooking person. I am a member of several women's club and have to archive some information. I would like to do a scrapbook to showcase the events. I am also meeting with my classmates from the first grade and nursery school. This would be a good idea to do a scrapbook on this also. I like unique items and paper.

What company do you subject: Creative Memories, Stamping Up, etc

What can I do next?

Creative Memories and Close to My Heart are both good if you want to crop the old-fashioned way.

If you are looking to try digital cropping, try Pixels on Denton Tap in Coppell. They are great and really helpful.

Good luck!

Hello P., I think if you are looking to scrapbook such important things as these events, there is no other choice then Creative Memories. They are the only company that is geared towards preserving your photos. Even though other products may say they are acid and ligin-free (which is what it takes to preserve your phots) there is no governing agency that enforces this. So the manufactures can put whatever they want on the packaging and mislead us. I am a CM consultant and I have encounter numerous people that have spent hundreds if not thousands of dollars on scrapbooks to have them fall apart or the glue not stick, or the stickers fall off the pages or the plastic adhere to the top of your photos. It is really heart-breaking. I have a lady that had to take 14 previous done scrapbooks and move them into CM albums because they were in such bad shape, and her son is only 10 years old. I would love to talk to you more about it and give you the information so that you may make an educated decision on how to preserve these precious memories for years to come. Please call me anytime ###-###-####. I look forward to talking to you.Stacie West

I mainly use SU cardstock for my foundation colors because of the great quality, but I use lots of companies for their papers. There are so many beautiful options out there!

Try Creative Memories - they are great! There is a consultant who can walk you through putting an album together and show you many different ideas. You can probably find a consultant online at creativememories.com but if you live in the Metroplex, I can personally suggest a couple. Email me back if you'd like a suggestion. Great idea! Good luck!
