I've been to birthday parties at MyGym in Manhattan Beach, they do a really nice job and there's a great pizza place in the same shopping complex called Fresh Brothers if you want to order pizza. I've heard good things about Under the Sea, also in Manhattan Beach and I've never been for a birthday party, but we've been to the Adventure Plex (on Manhattan Beach Blvd), I'm sure they do birthday parties and it's a nice space, they probably provide the food? There's also a great place in Hermosa Beach called the Art Zone, again, I've never been for a birthday party but it's really fun, the kids can do art, play in the 'mud room' (bring extra clothes -they get wet), they have a little play room... I would imagine they base the art/activities on the age of the children for parties.

I really enjoyed Under the Sea Indoor Playground in Manhattan Beach for Birthday parties. It is an extremely kid friendly place that is great for adults too! The staff is very professional and interacts well with the children as well. And they do all the set up and clean up for you, so you can actually relax and enjoy the company of the other moms! The facility is just the right size and it is not overwhelming for the kids. I think you will really like it. Try My Gym. There is a location in Redondo Beach. I went to a 2 year olds birthday party there a couple of months ago and my 18 month old had a great time.
