We are going to Seaworld(san diego) and Legoland in April with our almost 6 yr triplets . I will definately need a stroller but Obviously we are already through our stroller stage and I sold off mine.
My question is what stroller worked best for others & what we should do????? does the rental ones big enough for 6 yr olds???? We are driving
You won't need a stoller! Would they even sit in one? My kids wouldn't sit in one past age 4.
I think that strollers would be more trouble than they are worth in your situation. You'd end up pushing them empty and waiting in stroller lines trying to park and collect them between events. We just did Disney with our 2 (same age). We took lots of breaks on benches and in cafes, even went for a mid day nap in our hotel. They never complained about walking too much, and never asked to be carried. We each had a small (!!!) backpack with the days snacks and necessities.

I agree with the others - for 6 year olds, you probably don't need one. I am taking my son, who is almost 5, to Legoland next month and we will not bring a stroller. We did Disneyland without one last week and are doing California Adventure without one tomorrow (and no, I don't usually do so many theme parks in such a short time!!) Anyway, he did great at Disneyland without the stroller and I feel good about leaving it home for the other parts.
Legoland and Sea World parks are not that big. I think you'll be ok.
Why do you think you will need a stroller? I think you will be fine without one. If you really think you need some sort of wheeled conveyance for your kids or stuff, maybe bring along a wagon?
I've never used one, but they are pretty big.
There is also craigslist.com to check out for something used that you can resell when done.
I'm not sure I would bother with a stroller for 6 year olds.
I have annual passes to Sea World and as I recall they are jogger type things. I can't believe that you would actually need a stroller for six year olds and the parks really are not that big.
