HELP!!! I'm searching for a dentist that caters to children. My 16 year old had a very unpleasant visit at our family dental office... she had a tooth pulled that apparently broke off while they were attempting to pull it. This procedure was so painful to her that she could barely walk into the lobby to tell me about it. She actually told them she had to go to the restroom just to get out of there. Turns out the tooth was infected and should have been treated with antibiotics prior to the procedure. I DO NOT want to go back there. Please refer me to a dentist in the San Leandro/Hayward area. My son is 4.5 and has been there 3 times. He has never cried or freaked out. His dentist is Dr. Smith but Dr. Hipolito, owner, has come to our preschool and given a presentation on pediatric dentistry and he seems very nice. I would feel comfortable having him examine my son. The girl who gave my son his first cleaning was very nice and patient. Highly recommended.

I was raised in England and had terrible experiences with dentists in my younger years and would have anxiety attacks at the thought of having to go. Now we all go every 6 months for check-ups, no more anxiety!!!
