I am very discouraged with my hair and my current hairstylist. I've tried telling her I'm not happy with my hair when she cuts it but it offends her and I still don't get my hair fixed. So... I think it's time to look for someone new.
Does anyone know a hairstylist that is great with short hair in the Polaris area? She/He should also be able to cut it the same way twice in a row once I find a style that I like.

Hi Km my Hairdresser is Christina at Kenneths in Polaris. i too have short hair and went through the same thing you are my old stylist could never cut it the same way twice, and if she was in a hurry oh my...lol She is wonderful and congenial. If you go tell her T. referred you. She also carries all different kinds of hours to suit her clientel. Good Luck.
Since you live near OSU, the salon that I HIGHLY recommend is not far from you - it's just not near Polaris. Atelier is on King Avenue not far from Northwest Blvd. Any of the stylists there are fantastic. I see Erin because she really 'got' what look I was going for and actually did it - each time I came in. Whenever I want a change she's more than happy to offer ideas too - but she's definitely not pushy. I've been happy there for over 4 years now.

I go to Blades in Reynoldsburg and have for 20 years... Todd Woods is amazing... it's a nice salon, you can have wine or coffee or a soda, and he's the experienced kind of hairdresser that KNOWS what will look good on you (in other words, if you ask him for something he doesn't think will look good, forget it. I learned twice - I wanted him to cut it off one time and he refused - I went down the street, chopped it off, and went back to him to fix... and I regret it to this day - HE WAS RIGHT! LOL)
Anyways, I find it advantageous to have a male, always did... when I moved to Alaska for four years, I refused to get it cut until I visited back in Ohio and could go to him. He's amazing.
